If you have video or graphics you would like us to incorporate in a production, here are our preferred specifications and delivery methods.

VIDEO

Frame Rate: 29.97 fps or 23.98 fps (59.97 fps is acceptable) Size: HD 1920 x 1080 pixels or HD 1440 x 1080 pixels
File Formats:

• .mov • .mxf • .mp4

Video Format (Codecs):

• H264

• XDCAM

• Quicktime Apple ProRes

• DNxHD220

  Audio: -8 db average
  Bitrate: We prefer full resolution; the highest quality you can deliver (especially in the case of .mp4)

  GRAPHICS Size:

• Preferably vector based graphics (.eps, .ai, .pdf) with vector-based or scalable graphics, size is not an issue because we can resize to as large as we need.

• If the graphic is a bitmapped (i.e. not vector) image such as .jpeg, .psd, .bmp, .png, etc. then we would prefer a minimum size of 1000 pixels on the longest dimention (i.e. height or width) of the graphic. In this case bigger is better (1920 x 1080 is preferred).

• Annother issue for us are logos already combined with a background. We would prefer the graphic to be on a transparent background. This is sometimes called an “alpha channel”. Most bitmapped file formats do not carry this alpha channel. In this case we would have to separate the background from the logo, compromising the quality of the graphic. Certain file formats will carry an alpha channel, such as .psd and .png.
