Anna grew up in Excelsior, Minnesota with a love for the outdoors. If she wasn’t practicing the violin, you found her outside roaming the woods with her neighbors.

Her passion for the outdoors led to her interest in environmental journalism. She graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Convergence Journalism. Her editing, shooting and writing skills landed her a job at the reputable E.W. Scripps company as a Multimedia Journalist in Southwest Florida.

She returned to Minnesota for family after a year and a half working at the local station Fox 4. Wanting to pursue her dream in the production industry, particularly in outdoors production, she applied for an open position at Ron Schara Productions. She received the position as Social Media Manager in December 2019 after impressing the interviewers with her professionalism, persistence, and passion.

Anna manages all seven of RSP’s show’s social channels. She’s in charge of growing the following and audience engagement. In her first few months at RSP, she’s managed to increase following across the board by 15%. She also analyzes traffic to and from the channels, as well as controls website updates for the company.

When Anna isn’t working, she’s playing with her family dog, Bella, hiking, practicing yoga, spending time with family or neighbors, and taking photos or video.
