Having grown up in Minnesota, Natalie has always had a strong interest in nature and all things “North.” She is passionate about living a life of balance and helping others do the same – creating content, sharing ideas, and telling inspiring outdoor stories to do just that.

Natalie is an avid outdoorswoman who loves hiking, foraging, endurance activities including cross-country skiing, and fishing. Notably, she has boated numerous four-foot muskies, several trophy-sized bass, tarpon, snook, and a 50-pound Roosterfish landed in a kayak in the Pacific Ocean.

When she’s not hosting Due North Outdoors, Natalie has many hobbies. She loves travel, cooking, fitness & health, service work, family time, faith, and learning new things. She is a practicing Life Coach, a popular digital content creator, certified yoga instructor specializing in women’s physical and mental health, and a former hockey player.

Previously, Natalie worked in Media Relations for the Minnesota Wild, as a feature writer for a women’s lifestyle magazine, and in the corporate world in Human Resources & Project Management. Her written work has been featured in several publications, and she has appeared on various programs, including as a commentator for Major League Fishing, and as the producer and host of an online series, Covering Water. She graduated with honors from Miami University with degrees in Journalism & English.
